Stuart leads the cross-border M&A team of Translink Corporate Finance in the UK and has extensive experience in global buy and sell-side deals. Stuart is a Fellow of the ICAEW, having spent 10 years with Ernst & Young the ‘Big 4’ accountants. Stuart established an independent Corporate Finance practice in 2004 that today serves global clients on sales, acquisitions, buy-outs and carve-outs, helping achieve the strategies of family owned businesses, private equity backed businesses and listed companies. He is a member of Translink’s Global Automotive and Engineering Industry Groups.

Barry has over 25 years of experience in M&A transactions assisting companies at all stages of development. As well as deals, Barry has gathered specific expertise in debt advisory services gained from significant experience, Standard Chartered Bank, Barclays, HSBC and over 15 years with GE. Barry has an extensive network of professional contacts and a proven ability to source and convert corporate transactions.

Daniel Chouciño

Daniel leads the UK analyst team for local and international acquisition assignments as well as UK business sales and has seven years of experience originating transactions in a wide range of industries. A Financial Mathematics Masters Graduate from the University of Leicester, Daniel has a global contact base of fellow analysts and deal makers.

Melanie has over 25 years’ experience within corporate finance markets including significant time with Barclays, Lloyds and HSBC.  Most recently, Melanie has developed significant debt advisory capacity in a role with a major UK peer-to-peer lender.  Melanie’s role includes assisting clients with their funding requirements as well as transacting business sales across a broad range of industry sectors.

Shamshad has extensive experience working with private sector companies and specifically healthcare organisations. Shamshad is a Masters Graduate from Nottingham University and has an MBA in Management Studies from Nottingham Trent University. Shamshad leads on the delivery of Translink’s digital marketing strategy which aims to develop robust online communication channels with both clients and partners across the UK and internationally.

Before founding Translink Strempel & Co, David was an owner and Managing Director of Informed Sources Ltd (London) a high-level corporate strategy firm now part of Oliver Wyman. Previously he was COO of AOL UK after five years with the Bertelsmann Group where he launched BMG’s video games division (now Take 2 Interactive) and was head of strategy for BMG International. (New York). David is a CPA and began his career in 1982 with KPMG in Frankfurt later becoming a Manager with Price Waterhouse in Milan and New York. He later joined AWT, Inc. (Veolia Environnement) as Group Controller. David has participated in various deals within the IT sector and is member of our IT industry group.

Tero Nummenpää

Tero Nummenpää has been involved with M&A since the early 2000s. Before founding Translink Finland, he worked as Investment Manager in an investment company PCA Infocom Finance Oy. Tero is the Chairman of the Board of Translink International AG that coordinates Translink’s international operations. Tero holds an M.Sc. (Tech.) from University of Tampere and an MBA from Virginia Tech. He has participated in various deals within the IT sector and is member of our IT industry group.

Andreas Hüchting

Andreas, Managing Director of Translink Corporate Finance in Germany, has extensive experience both as an entrepreneur and as a consultant in Germany and Central/Eastern Europe. Andreas has built an international fashion company in Germany with subsidiaries across Eastern Europe; later he founded a consulting company specialised in internationalisation strategies for German companies. During the last few years Andreas has been involved in numerous M&A transactions in Germany and abroad. He holds a diploma of Economics from the University of Fribourg (Switzerland) and speaks German, English, Spanish and French. Andreas has participated in various deals within the logistics sector and is head of our Logistics Industry Group.
